About Me
I like to tinker. I like to know how things work. This geeky fascination with things keeps me pretty well entertained.
Currently, I satisfy my curiosity as part of my career as a web developer. I am paid to solve puzzles caused by managing information with computers. There’s no shortage of work there.
My programming language of choice is PHP, more recently with a heavier focus on the WordPress content management framework. As with any web development job, there’s heavy use of HTML and JavaScript. I used to write a lot of ASP and often used Microsoft Access for both data storage and light application development.
For fun, I like to work on small scooters and mopeds. I am fascinated by the technology of internal combustion and the variety of solutions that others have come up with over the years. And I get to ride them around, too.
